Yagna is the vedic ritual of sending the prayers to God. scientifically havan and yagya are the message carriers. How havan and yagya is message carrier?
Why Hindu culture is mostly dependent on the Vedic Havan and Yagya for bringing rainfall,removing the negative powers,for enriching the prosperity and happiness in the family,for destroying the ghost and its various activities from the ghost effected places,for birth of bright baby, for leading and continuing the work and any new project without obstacles,etc.? Vedic culture and society has solution of all the problems of life whether it is physical, mental, financial, psychological and social. India is the country where people have more faith and trust on the religion and all its practices and activities. Similarly in Hindu culture Hindus most likely to organized the Yagya and Havan for the completion of their ideas and works. Why Havan and Yagya are so important for the Hindus and what type of ideologies are related with the history of this havan and yagya?
INTRODUCTION:
YAGNA AND HAVAN are the ritual of purposing and urging God by burning fire and offering herbs and shrubs into it. Yagna and Havan are the 2 different way of performing the same practice of purposing God. In Havan and in Yagya there is one ‘‘YAJMAAN”(Person who wants to complete his purpose) and ”BRAHMAN”(Person who guides the yajmaan and do vedic chants during havan and yagya).
Yajmaan follows the directions of brahman during havan and yagya.Havan and yagya are basically performed for fulfilling the wishes and needs by pleasing Almighty. There are different forms of Gods in Hindu culture, who are invited during the havan for making it successful.The way of inviting the different Gods is the vedic words chanting which is known as ”SWASTI VACHAN”. Hindus do the havan and yagya for various purposes that’s why they specially invite and appeal one God most to fulfill their purpose for e.g Havan and yagya for God INDRA for bringing the rainfall in region, havan and yagya for God SUN for healthy and bright future baby, havan and yagya for lord VISHNU and lord SHIVA for family peace and prosperity, havan and yagya for goddess LAXMI for removing the financial crisis and other havan and yagya for different planets like SHANI, RAHU, KETU, to make them happy for vanishing the obstacles and problems in life etc. there are so many Gods which are appealed to fulfill the human or Yajmaan purposes by Brahman.
